"Un homme est un Homme". Sortie en DVD

La trame du documentaire: Le spectacle belgo-africain "Un homme est un Homme" est en tournée au Burkina Faso, Sénégal et en Côte d'Ivoire. Sur scène, trois hommes aux destins croisés partent pour le rêve blanc, inspirés de témoignages réels.

Sur son chemin, la compagnie XK Theater Group croise de nouveaux témoins: le jeune Hyppolite qui rêve d’ailleurs pour aider sa famille, Awa qui a tout abandonné pour tenter de rejoindre l’Espagne en pirogue, André qui a traversé le désert avant de rentrer chez lui. Tous connaissent le prix de l’aventure.

NL/ Burkina Faso, november 2012. Het Afrikaanse gezelschap XK Theater Group start zijn tournée met de voorstelling « Un homme est un homme ». Op de planken staan 3 acteurs die het lot van de migranten naspelen. De leden van het collectief Comme un Lundi doorkruisten Burkina Faso, Senegal en Ivoorkust met een handcamera. Deze documentaire geeft het verhaal weer van de tour en toont hoe theater een echo kan zijn van de realiteit in de deze landen.

EN/ November 2012, Burkina Faso. The company XK Theater Group begins  the African tour of the show “Un Homme est un homme.” Three actors embody the destinies of men who get into the adventure, inspired by the stories of dozens of migrants. The members of the group Comme un Lundi travelled to Burkina Faso, Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire, in the footsteps of the show, with a camera in their hand. This documentary retraces the tour of the show and how the theatre questions this and the echoes of the countries they’ve travelled.
